About Mark Dixon

I'm Mark Dixon. I completed my PhD in 2006 at The University of Western Australia (UWA). I have firsthand experience in each of the points listed above and I'm happy to help you work through any of those too. I have worked at UWA, Curtin University, Murdoch University, and done some academic support for Edith Cowan University and Notre Dame University, all of which are in Perth, Western Australia. I worked for 10 years for UWA in Research Ethics and Research Integrity and although I am now retired, I still do occasional research integrity and research ethics consultations for universities around Australia.

I live in Perth, Australia. If you are in Perth I can work with you in person. If you are not in Perth I can assist via video conference, phone and email. The challenges you encounter working through a PhD are somewhat common around the world so if you are not in Australia, I may still be able to help you.

I charge on an hourly basis, no subscription, retainer, or signing fee. I have a network of colleagues who have also navigated the challenges listed above, and where I feel someone else can assist you better with any specific challenge, I am happy to refer you.
